Elements definelty just does massage. The salon that Tabatha took over was Touch of Elegance, which has since moved to a new location.

How about listing Fantastic Sam's. Good haircuts, wonderful hair stylists, and very economical prices.

Great :Lengths. Each person is styled to suit the individual and iit has a friendly relaxed atmosphere. No long waiting. Reasonable prices.

Fresh looks is by FAR the best salon in Tewksbury! I personally have been getting my hair done by Juliette Turner for years, and I would never choose to go to another salon again. Great atmosphere, with a fantastic staff! Juliette, Carly, and the rest of the stylists at Fresh looks salon go above and beyond any other salon I have been to. LOVE THEM!!!

Fresh Looks definetly takes to cake for the best hair salon in Tewksbury. With their fabulous atmosphere, brilliant staff, and amazing products, Fresh Looks really brings out the beauty in their clients. One of my close friends got a hair cut from a different salon in Tewksbury, in which she absolutely dreaded. Sheryl, one of the managers, fixed her up good free of charge. I love the new La Bella Salon, my child goes to milestone next door so my daughter and I are now go their. I love the atmosphere with the crystals on the wall it is beautiful. What really impressed me more than how welcoming the hairdressers where and how beautiful it,is that they use all natural products. There isn't many salons that do that and I was so surprised and impressed.

I can't say enough about Fresh Looks Salon. I always look forward to getting my hair done. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the owners Sheryl and Denise are professional and very accommodating. I am never disappointed with any of the services I've received, whether I'm getting a facial a pedicure or a hair cut and color. You can always guarantee you're leaving the salon feeling good about how you look.

Bill, Fantastic Sam's is not a barber. Although they have a big male clientele, they have a large woman's clientele. They not only cut & style hair, they color and do perms also. It is a full service salon. They also do hair removal (eyebrows, lips, etc.)

FRESH LOOKS SALON gives you a fresh look. Love it.

Aurora is by far the best salon in town . Only one I know that offers skin care facials laser hair removal botox and fillers and this new permanant makeup !

I don't mean to offend anyone, but a certain salon that's being mentioned on here has only been open for about a week. I'm not sure how that qualifies them for the best of tewksbury. I believe that in order to become the best of a town, the salon should be up and running for several years, and not only a week. As a customer who has been to many salons in the area of tewksbury and the surrounding towns, I do not think that anyone can make a fair judgement off of one visit alone, especially during the grand opening of a salon where there are many promotions and discounts for haircuts, waxing etc, and any other services the salon offers. Furthermore, I believe that in order for a salon to become the best of a town they must be critiqued not only on the apperance, but long time clients testamonies, previous awards and/or recognitions. Again, this is a personal opinion and I do not mean to offend anyone who is a client at this salon.

I thouroughly agree with Kerri! How is it possible for a salon open only for a week or even two to have over 200 votes? So you're saying that over 200 clients have gone through those doors in two weeks? i find that highly unlikely. This seems to me that someone is having a field day talking to friends and family begging them to vote and not what actual clients have to say. This to me including the fact that they have only been open for only a few weeks is in no way enough time to qualify any bussiness to be a best of anything! This is extremely unfair to the salons that have been open for years and have put hard work and time into earning their reputations.

In addressing concerns over potential voting ... irregularities ... I would ask our readers to trust that protocols are in place to address issues that may be detected. As for the inclusion of new businesses, we felt it would be unfair not to include them when we were trying to have a comprehensive list.

It's a shame and very sad that certain readers took this fun and light poll and turned it negative. Just shows how classless and thoughtless folks are today -- it's too bad. As a resident of Tewksbury for over 7 years, I have been going to a stylist who is now at the "certain salon being mentioned". Although they may have only been open a few weeks now, they surely have appropriately and considerately taken along all of their clientele and brought them into a beautiful new space which is a very big accomplishment. The negative comments are made by pure inconsiderate readers.

Salon karma is amazing. I searched for like 5 years before I found jordan and I'd neva go anywhere else!!

So many great salons in town!!! Just because La Bella has been open for only a few weeks doesn't mean there staff hasn't been in town for a LONG time. I know this because I am a stylist there and am the least experienced of all(almost 9 years) but I do agree with how great the other salons are especially Aurora, Karma, Fresh Looks, Prime Cut and Compliments. All have very talented staff. I guess Tewksbury residents should just be lucky they will never have to go to far for a cut. -Chris M-

La Bella Salon is full of stylists who have been in the business for many years. They have built a large customer base that has followed them into this spectacular salon. These stylists should be recognized for continuing their great work with their existing clients in a new and beautiful space. It says and means a lot that La Bella has been nominated after only being open a few weeks. Their clients have stood by them and want to see the stylists continue to thrive in a place in which they love to work.

La Bella is a great salon and has an awesome staff. They make everyone walking out of that place looking and feeling great about themselves. They deserve to be in this running. The staff has been working in Tewksbury for many years and now they have found there home. Anyone who thinks they shouldn't be in this running or that it's not fare that they are is in my opinion either scared of there success or maybe even a little JEALOUS of it. I am so proud with all they have Accomplished.

Fresh Looks Salon is great. I have been going to Sheryl for years, the only hairdresser I have met that truly listens and does your hair exactly the way you want it. Even after moving to New Hampshire I still drive down for Sheryl to do my hair!

Wow only open in February and already fully professionally staffed and the salon is simply gorgeous. I recently experienced an afternoon at La Bella Salon. The atmosphere was relaxing and breathtaking. The services met every expectation and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Kudos to Alicia for creating such a beautiful salon. I’ve been to a few hair salons in the area, and in my opinion, this is the best salon in Tewksbury and certainly worth my nomination.

La Bella Salon salons is hands down the most beautiful salon I have ever been in and the hair stylists are amazing! I have been going to Alicia for years now and have never been happier with my hair! my vote is for A Beautiful Day! They do a great job on your hair. It is a laid back, comfortable environment. They have some eco-friendly products available. They support local artists by hosting a different artists' works on their walls every few months. They've done fundraisers with the food pantry. They are involved with Finding a Cure with Fashion (this sunday at tewksbury country club).

I just left LaBella salon!! loved it, beautiful and elegant, and very friendly. I have been with my stylist for over 25 years, and I love her too!!! I would follow her anywhere, and I have, but this salon seems to be the most relaxed I have been too in Tewksbury. Go LaBella!!!

Aurora Salon is such a warm, relaxing, professional salon with a great atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly and kind. My Stylist Jordan is amazing at blondes and his work. Ive followed him from when he worked in Newbury St in boston. 45min drive, is totally worth every penny. Go to Aurora Tewksbury

Aurora Salon & Spa is such a great Salon. I can walk in and see any of there stylist and walk out feeling amazing. By far the best salon in Tewksbury. I'll never go anywhere else.

Michelle at Aurora Salon is GREAT. Best Color/Highlit and cut ive ever had in years. The Salon is gorgeous with a great enviroment. The staff is extremely professional and talented. Love it there

Salon Karma is by far the best. I've been going to Jordan for years and she treats me with respect, listens to my wants, and is a ton of fun to be around. All the girls are fantastic, professional, and love their jobs- it is obvious in their work.

La Bella Salon makes me feel like I am at a high end salon on Newbury Street or on 5th Ave. in New York! Such a beautiful salon with amazingly talented and prompt service!!

It is safe to say la bella salon will bring great things in the future! The salon and stylists are amazing. Anyone who says other wise needs to stop by and check the place out, it is clear by the amount of votes! I don't think anyone has a right to bash any of the salons the way some have been doing, we are all adults here. I understand it is a new salon but it just goes to show how extraordinary it is just opening up not too long ago and having that many votes! Personally I believe all the salons are great in there own way! But, if I had to choose I'd pick la Bella all the way! I love alicia i will NEVER go to anyone one else..if she's away I'd always go to her partner in crime Jamie!

This poll is proving to not be fair. How did Salon KARMA go from having near 20 votes yesterday, to having 1,000 plus today? Something is not right here. Perhaps instead of spending their time rigging the system, they should focus on styling some hair. It's too bad when jealousy gets in the way of something that was meant to be light-hearted and fun. Maybe these people shouldn't let someone elses success cause such insecurities. After all, KARMA will come back to bite them in the ass....

Deep breath everyone .... as I mentioned earlier, systems are in place to detect voting, ummmm, irregularities. And if (and let me repeat IF) that occurs, it will be weighed accordingly. That said, folks can vote once a day and leave a comment a day and even a positive review each day. So there are plenty of ways to help out your favorite salon.
Let me make this observation, it is clear that Tewksbury has some amazingly loyal and passionate salon customers and I'm thinking that is pretty cool for the local industry. You want your hair, nails, facial done right .... y'all come to Tewksbury.

You can't really make a poll of best salon in Tewksbury. Most of the people who voted have only been to one of these salons. Most have never tried any other, making this poll inaccurate.

My vote goes to La Bella Salon, it may be new but all of the stylist working there have been around for many years and all have a full clientele. The Salon itself is beautiful and definitely something to brag about!

I have been to many of these salons listed above, and once I finally found a stylist that I love I would never go somewhere else. I have moved with her to all the salons she has worked at, and now with a exciting new salon to call her own my vote has to go to La Bella Salon. There is just something about it that sets it apart from all the others around town. Good luck!

What makes a salon are the hairdressers and although a salon may not have been open for years, la bella has experienced hairdressers that have had clients follow them for years. It is wonderful to see a new,elegant salon opened by someone who has been serving the Tewksbury community for years. I have been to aurora an salon karma in the past and although they are good salons, my preference is with the wonderful hairdressers of la Bella. I don't feel that there needs to be any bashing of other salons here ladies, this is a forum to choose the salon that you like and possibly refer to someone who may be looking for something new. I wish la Bella all the best. You keep being the classy ladies that you are.

I was at La Bella Salon last night having my hair done by the owner, Alicia. Although she does not usually work on tuesday nights, she stayed late to accomodate my schedule. Not many stylists would go out to their way to be so accomodating. Alicia is an amazingly talented stylist, always professional, welcoming, and wonderful. I have been a loyal client of hers for years, and I am so excited about her new salon. I have also been to many of the other salons listed in the poll, and can honestly say that none of them compare to La Bella. Alicia has taken her many years of experience and created a gorgeous salon with a top-notch team of experienced stylists. It's obvious to me, from the many childish comments I have read in this poll, that there are some other salons feeling threatened by the competition. so sad...

Sorry but this was suppose to be a fun post and shame on all those that have not done this fairly, I was looking for a new salon and sure wont pick the one on here not playing fair, you dont play fair then who know what else you do in your business. Its suppose to be fun but it also should be fair to all the other businesses in town. When a brand new salon has 1000 votes there is something wrong. So the hairdressers have been there for years, well so aren't some of the others on here. Also if you check the people postings for Labella they have never posted to a thing before which says it all. Talk about a shaddy way to do business and talk about free advertising. Bill I think this poll should be stopped/pull. If you allow this then makes me wonder it this site is more like the National Enquire than a site with true/real info.

Fresh Looks has never done me wrong! I love their new location and they have a full staff of professional dedicated stylists. Kassie has been doing my hair for years and she is the best, she is young and up to date on the latest cuts and styles, as well as being very good at men's cuts....love her and the entire staff!

People are posting about La Bella it's amazing and we all support the team! I have never used this website but I wanted to support the place and team that makes me look my best. The hair salon is nothing without stylist and Alicia and that team have been working in this town for 8plus years...people follow Alicia and whatever salon she works in and when you treat your clients like she does and make

I have been a client of Tanya Graham's (owner of Salon Karma) since 2000. I often joke that the husband has changed, but my stylist remains the same as she has not only done my hair since then, but she also styled hair for both my weddings. So I give a big shout out to Salon Karma and think they are fabulous, and always have been. For years people have asked me "who does your hair?" all the time. Anyone looking for a new salon to try should definitely give them a call. To address the elephant in the room- I absolutely cannot believe The Real Stylists of Tewksbury drama above. Yikes! Seriously? There was no need for any of it, except if you had a good or bad review of a particular salon you've actually patronized. Anything else just cheapens this forum down to garbage with no value and a bunch of hyped-up tempers. Take a big, relaxing deep breath and go do something positive with your day, would you?

Something about this poll is certainly not adding up. As a fat guy with the same hair style since high school, it is beyond my comprehension how 2855 people care about who does their hair yet only 286 people care about who makes their subs. Makes no sense to me.....

@Alex Ro - Agreed. When there's nearly as many comments on an article about hair as there are on an article about tax increases and spending, it makes one shake their head.

As someone who has been to many salons in the tewksbury area, i have to agree that we are lucky to have so many great options in town! However, this is a best salon poll, not best stylist. Your stylist may an amazing top notch hairdresser, and you may have followed her around to the various salons she has worked at, but that doesnt make a great salon, that makes a great stylist. People are commenting on how there is cheating going on here, but it is almost impossible to do so considering you could track the IP address of the computer to see who has voted more than once, or "rigged the system" so to speak. I think the salons with such high votes are obviously doing a good job promoting the poll and having clients/friends/family vote for them, which is sort of the point now, isn't it? Just a thought. I for one am a client at Edgardo's, although I have friends who go to salons all over town. I commend Salon Karma for getting the word out about this poll, and getting their votes up, just as I commend Labella for doing the same. Yet, i cant help but wonder how people can question Salon Karma getting so many votes in such a quick period of time, when LaBella went from two hundred something to a thousand something votes in the same period of time. Judging by the fantastic comments for both of these salons, they seem like they do well enough that they don't need to sit there and vote for themselves repeatedly. That seems a little foolish to me. And any respectable owner wouldn't let that happen. Maybe they do just have a loyal clientele base, and loyal friends and family voting for them.

I would like to coment on this..i know a lot of us stylists have clients from other towns. Not just tewksbury. So to quote numbers from just this town is useless, a client will follow a good stylist all over ,so weather its salon karma or labella were all great stylists, and to make this a smear campaign keep going but if you want to acknowledge there is some great salons in tewksbury drop the drama focus on promoting these great salons.

I think this post should be re written to who's the best stylist in town. It has nothing to do on where you cut/color/style your hair its WHO does it. I have been to MANY salon its Tewksbury following the same stylist although through the follow some salons have been prettier than the others doesn't change MY STYLIST. La Bella salon is new in town but the following is coming from the CLIENTS mouths that are so overwhelmed in joy for Alicia and staff who have been serving this area for years) and can honestly say with being at many salon La Bella is amazing and elegant by far the classiest salon in Tewksbury. The staff is well educated, talented, professional, passionate people who will make La bella stand out from the others, finally nice to see an owner care about not only the surrounding's they work in , but more importantly making sure the staff is top notch to make LA BELLA a success so I know this wont be the only time LA Bella stirs up the completion watch out everyone they are ready to take off the town its just a matter of time you decide to check it out, and be hooked forever good luck guys congrats on all your success

Im with DM, obviously salon karma and la bella arent that busy to be on here all day, to much drama. Ill go with another tewksbury salon.

I vote Salon Renee to be the best SALON in Tewksbury. Renee is a master of hair color and design. She has been my hairdresser in Tewksbury for over 15 years now and she does such an amazing job running her business. The salon is always clean and bright and the clientele and staff are always kind and friendly. Salon Renee is one class act and deserves to be voted the #1 Salon in Tewksbury!!

Hi. I'm sorry to be a jerk but there is no possible way 1200 people could have even seen la Bella to say it was the best salon or salon karma for that matter. This poll is useless and no one should win. Just because all your Facebook friends said its a great salon doesn't mean it is

A- I didn't bash any salon, I am sure that it is nice. But, this is completely out of control and completely filled with drama!

I have tried to stay out of all this drama but its getting just foolish now,this was suppose to be a funand exciting thing to participate in. I think I can speak for everyone including myself at Salon Karma, that we wouldnt want to to win an award without earning it! We take pride in every Color, Cut, style, wax, ect we do. We have no reason to cheat or bash anyone or any salon, were all tryin to accomplish the same thing. I have been promoting this poll twice a day on my facebook and yes i have called all friends and have let all my clients know to come on this site and vote, but that is not cheating!! Whether we win or lose it doesnt really matter the real proof that we are a great salon is in our reviews, they dont lie! Good luck to all salons participating!
