Ray, only two of those businesses, three if you count your Jade tip off, are open at all on Christmas Day, and both are on reduced schedules for both days. You know, Christmas isn't a holiday for everyone. You say Jade is open and chinese and similar restaurants are kind of the classic examples, they don't always celibrate Christmas, and they're one of the few places open for others who don't celibrate it to go out to eat. Do you work at one of these places and are being forced into working on Christmas day or something? The blanket statement that the buisinesses don't care seems unfair, and honestly confuses me when you seem to say only the ones on Christmas Day. However, I think I can understand saying the big chains, the department stores in particular, especially the ones still staying open after 8 or 9, they're doing their employees no favors, especially since they'll have to be dealing with all the last minute shoppers. For the most part the local, non chain restaurants on that list could be treating their employees far worse.

Yes Sarah, The Jade has always been open for Christmas for as long as I can remember...I guess you can say it is the chain type store, such as I-hop, Dunkin Donuts...TJ Callahan's on the other hand? Bars opening up no matter what time of day is telling people to Drink, drive and hope you do not kill a family returning home from the Holidays. What ever happen to tradition to spend time with family and friends. If you must need to go out and have a drink to celebrate Christmas, just stay home! Yes I will be working tomorrow night myself because of the work I do, I volunteered so my co workers can spend time with their Children and family

Don't forget papa ginos is open to 6pm but will deliver as long as you order before 6pm. Just be careful of the driver he begs for tips. Lol. He just begged me for more money.
