Businesses come and businesses go, and 2012 was no different here in Tewksbury.

I loved the idea of Novel Cafe, but the timing was wrong...it came the month i got my first ereader...i love the work they did on the building...and hoped it would work...but alas...

I'm with Denise. I loved the idea of a Novel Café, but opening a bookstore is like opening a disco. I pray that Ira keeps the building. They did such a nice job fixing it up, it would be a sin.

I'm glad the Black Olive was gone though, the food just wasn't good. Angelina's is there now and we had a fantastic meal there a couple weeks ago.

Angelina's is fine but I was never disappointed with the food at Black Olive and I thought their Birthday Club customer free entree was a nice touch. Funny, with the Novel Cafe, the cafe part was fairly busy and may have made it with their nice, cozy atmosphere and wifi, but the bookstore part was always deserted.

American Motorcycle Supply closed. They were in the same building as Giovannis on Main St in South Tewksbury. I suspect internet sales put them out of business, among other factors.
