Where Is Best Place In Tewksbury To Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
This week's "Best of Patch Readers' Choice?" feature has a festive flavor.
In the third edition of "Best of Patch Readers Choice" we take on the timely topic of St. Patrick's Day (March 17). Where is the best place in Tewksbury to celebrate?
Here are some options that we came up with. As always, if we've omitted anyone, feel free to let us know.
And remember, you can show support for your favorite business in three ways.
- You can click on their name and leave a positive review on the Patch Directory page.
- You can leave a positive (repeat, positive) comment in the comment section.
- You can vote in the reader poll below. Just a reminder, voting is limited to one vote per day per person and mechanisms are in place to detect any voting "irregularities."
Applebees Neighborhood Grill & Bar
Mavericks Restaurant and Lounge
In both of our "Best of Patch Readers Choice" competitions so far, the voting has been amazingly close and it has come down to comments and directory reviews.
Good luck to all of our businesses!

TJ Callahans is a great place to celebrate St. Patricks Day. Their corned beef and cabbage is yummy and the live Irish music is great!

The Jade East routinely has more Irish drunks than any other joint in town. I'm going there!

Jon Ryan's Pub. It will be the first Saint Patricks Day open for this new restaurant. The Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner advertised sounds delicious. I am going there. Every time I 've been there so far, it has been fantastic food.

Yea, it seems to be doing very well. Every weekend we go and it is packed and the food is so fresh. They have the best seafood around, and the nachos are to die for. They have begun to do some remodeling too. Good for them. It's nice to see an independent winning over the chains with quality food instead of all the frozen junk food out there. Keep it up Ryans.

This poll is nowhere near as entertaining as the Salon poll. Where is the best place for me to get my hair done for St. Patrick's day?

Happy and Safe Saint Patrick day to you and yours. We will be serving Corned Beef and Cabbage Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We have completed the cooking process of over 500 pounds of Certified Angus Corned Beef for our first Saint Patrick'sWeekend Celebration. WCAP Radio is doing a Pub Crawl on Friday and will be arriving at Jon Ryan's between 3 and 3:30 pm. We will be serving our traditional Corned Beef as well as Dublin Salmon and a fantastic Grilled Corned Beef on Marble Rye with Swiss cheese and caramelized onion in our own Guinness Chipotle BB'Q sauce. And what would Saint Patrick's Day be without Green Beer, Irish Coffee and Baileys Irish Cream Cheese Cake. Oh.....I neglected to mention the free concert tickets WCAP will be giving away to one lucky winner who is at Jon Ryan's when the WCAP Pub Crawl Limo pulls up. Who knows, you may even see a real live Bagpipe player outside at Jon Ryan's on Friday playing some wonderful traditional Irish Tunes.
Best wishes for a responsible and safe Saint Patrick's weekend to all of our loyal guests. We hope to see everybody at Jon Ryan's.
Regards,
Bob Ryan

I'm a big fan of John Ryan's. Been there 4 times to eat and having take out from there as I type. Fresh quality food. The waitstaff is one of their best assets. Great for everyone even families.
