Calling All Tewksbury Independents & Republicans to Vote in Republican Primary September 6!

To the Residents of Tewksbury,

It’s time for Tewksbury to elect a new State Representative on November 6th ! It’s time to end One Patry Rule. The first step is for Independents and Republicans to take a Republican ballot and to vote in the Republican Primary September 6th.

You know me: With all due respect to the incumbent’s 35 years of service, Tewksbury looks to the future, not to the past. As your Representative, I pledge to work with town boards and Beacon Hill to provide the resources for Tewksbury to thrive. My promise is to help you and your family – and not talk about what I did.

Helping the people of Tewksbury is a privilege, not a political talking point.

We can do better! Tewksbury needs a Representative who:

  • Is zealous to ensure that Tewksbury succeeds and excels as a community
  • Is committed to increasing our clean industrial tax base thru economic development
  • Follows through to obtain deeds for Tewksbury: Livingston St.’s recreation land and East St. cemetery expansion -- as Legislature authorized in 1967 and 2002.

Tewksbury needs a Representative with vision, not just visibility -- not a career politician  who poses in front of kids on the House steps, then steps on struggling working families with his recent vote to unionize daycare workers. With one hand he dispenses “Citations” like confetti, while the other files (H-4090) conveying to convey 19 acres of State Hospital land to JDS Enterprises, LLC, i.e. to Tewksbury’s ZBA Chairman, personally. I was vigilant for you! We rallied to “save Livingston Street from Development.” The incumbent came “this close” to snagging our land for the Sullivans without telling Livingston St. elder residents or sportsparents of the back-room deal he tried to sneak into their neighborhood! And I paid a price for standing up for you. The incumbent had his buddy, Gov Patrick, remove me as a Tewksbury Hospital Trustee, and replace me with Bill Dalton of Chelmsford, son-in-law of Tewksbury's beloved Dick Morris, Hospital Board, who lived at Tewksbury Hospital on Deval's watch. (Can't the incumbent stand anyone else helping others on "his turf"?)

You deserve better! For Tewksbury to win on November 6th, I need your help. I pledge to reach across the aisle and work with those of both parties who seek to return a balance of dialogue, debate, and common sense to the Massachusetts House of Representatives.

It’s time to move forward. You deserve a Representative as zealous an advocate for Tewksbury as the incumbent was before he joined the “business as usual” of Beacon Hill.

It’s time for visionary new leadership to get Massachusetts back to work, and to:

  • Rein in outrageous state spending
  • Reduce the income and sales taxes
  • Restore local aid to support education and public safety
  • Remove over-regulation of job-creating small businesses
