Main Street gets facelift just before school starts
TEWKSBURY—At the request of State Senator Barry Finegold and town officials, the lines and crosswalks on Route 38 in Tewksbury have been repainted to ensure safety for drivers and pedestrians.
“I am glad MassDOT was able to make these safety improvements to Main Street right before the first day of school,” Finegold said. “Many of our schools are on this road, so repainted crosswalks are key to keeping students protected on this main roadway.”
Additionally, according to the Tewksbury Police Department there had been a few accidents on Main Street that cited issues with line visibility. “This is a simple project that could prevent further car accidents and I am happy I could help make this happen,” Finegold added.

Nice to see our elected officials really caring about "us"! Even though it only seems to happen in election years! And they want a round of applause for spending our money on our kids safety!
Finally, what town was Mr. Finegold talking about with the “Many of our schools are on this road" quote? Do I live in a parallel Tewksbury? I count ZERO schools on 38! Maybe he wants a bridge named for him too after he builds it with our money!

It is an election year Melissa, don't question, just nod! They hate a curious and knowledgeable citizenry!
