Republicans must not surrender their principles they must explain them better. Soon circumstancess will require everyone's attention.
Since this past election I’ve noticed a lot of hand wringing going on in Republican circles. It reminds me of my friend that freely excepts blame for everything that goes wrong in the world. Republicans were far from wrong Election Day regardless of the final score; in fact they were right on. We played by the rules. As Rush Limbaugh says it's hard to beat Santa Claus.
I am from the old school and damn proud of it. I will not ask my neighbors to provide for my birth control devices, cell phones and colored T.V. sets. These items should not be options for anyone. I consider them to be objects of greed. What’s next Tums for the tummy?
In my early years I was forced to work three jobs two were part time. This continued for five years. Even at a young age my independence was important to me. I learned a great deal from each job. I always considered them to be opportunities. Each opportunity gave me peace of mind and coupled with satisfaction and pride.
I am concerned today with people that stand to do better when they refuse a job. They know that the pay and the benefits are better when coming from the government than the private sector. This short term thinking is taking from the needy people that have real problems, real needs. Soon many more will be signing up for government aide because in their mind it is an entitlement free and unlimited. It's their right. Where will the money come from when the money press stops, confiscation? We were not sent here to live off the labor of others.
Today people are encouraged to stay on unemployment for two years and then sign up for disability for life. This is an act of slavery. This not only encourages drug and alcohol abuse it leads to prescription drug abuse. Is this a good lesson for the family? What about your own family? Most are saying that's different, my family should work, pay their own way, they expect less from others even though they maybe more qualified. They understand the concept is destrutive.
The Republican platform is a pro-American platform. The election disappointed
Republicans and others that had done their homework. Especially those that saw the need to repeal Obama Care without delay. No one seems to know exactlywhat is between the covers of Obama Care. The 2,500 pages of Obama Care contains freebees that may help some, but, hurt many others.
Prior to the election Republicans did not explain Love of Country, Patriotism or Self-reliance instead they allowed others to define our country. It was much easier to accept the untruths about the Republicans while covering up the truths in black and white about Obama Care. After all Obama Care was all things to all people and the government was paying for it. They failed to tell the people how many people would be riding in the wagon at no cost. You could say the plan varies from person to person. It's not manageable. Most will not be able to afford it and many will die because they bought it.
Should Republicans change their platform in order to gain voters? NO! We must rise above that. Republicans have the platform that will best benefit the country. Unfortunately many Voters were tempted by the easy money and the benefits they would receive from the government which is us,” We the People” they would not listen to the Republican plan. ISSUES DID NOT MATTER. As a result we have many hard days and years ahead of us that our great grandchildren will inherit. We are the first generation to pass our debt on to our children.
Do we really want to change this pro-American platform for a platform that is more European?
Soon the money tree will fall the presses will halt and the Democrats will steal the Republican platform and call it their own.
When you do the right thing do not back away just because others are trying to destroy your dreams. The Obama platform is doomed to fail and very soon. Without money the Democrats have little to offer. They will even lose their power over their base. Republicans take the money from the government and give it back to the people that earned it. Knowing the people will do better spreading it around. They will certainly stimulate the economy better than the government does, while creating jobs. Americans must become more independent not relying on others for non-essentials etc. or we will all go down.
It's amazing what life will teach those that listen and partiicipate in the work force.
We must educate people that they are wrong when they think that think money grows on trees, before we lose everything. Learn to enjoy the independence that a job provides.
Do not abandon American principles that have worked so well for over two hundred years. Eventually the people will come home to the principles that gave us everything. Those that came on the Mayflower made the change. Holding in tact that we have both financially, morally and of course the freedom that God gave us. We owe more time for the people to find the same path that Republicans have found.
People that have enjoyed success in life are against a tax and spend government, which has become arrogant, wasteful, fraudulent, and abusive. The country needs more winners fewer losers. Help each other find the right path or at least warn them to tighten their saddles for the bumpy ride ahead.
The President will soon understand that he can no longer continue to increase our debt driving us into the poor house ending the nightmare he has cast upon us and the world.
The President believed that by leveling the playing field around the world poorer nations would do better. He was wrong they fell apart as well. Partly because we unnecessarily delayed our own recovery and the delay continues today. When Americans fall down the rest of the world ends up in traction. It works the same for individuals. The more money that I make should not interfere with your ability to make more than I do.
Do what is right for your country. Do not be influenced by your opponent’s actions. If it’s good for the country then it’s good for everyone. This past election pointed out the dangers we must confront.
