There are four days left in my Teens for Jeans drive.  Today, I counted the donations and we are up to 28 pairs of jeans.  Come on Tewksbury, I know you have some jeans in your closets that you don't wear or need anymore!  My goal is to collect over 200 pairs!  These jeans will be donated to homeless shelters across the country through Aeropostale's Teens for Jeans program.  I want to put out a special request for men's jeans in all sizes.  We called a couple of local shelters in Lowell today and learned that one of them has an urgent need for men's jeans.  The people that utilize this agency's services literally sleep outdoors and this time of year they come into the shelter not only cold but wet.  The agency does not have enough jeans to give to these people and said they are in dire need. I'd like to deliver all of the men's jeans that I collect from my drive to this shelter in Lowell, and send the rest to Teens For Jeans.  Please help support those in need and donate! The drive ends Friday, February 8th. However if you find some extra men's jeans after that date, you can contact me at katelynjulia@yahoo.com and I will bring them to the shelter.
