I am a sophomore at Tewksbury Memorial High School and starting this week, I will be running a Teens for Jeans drive until February 8th. This drive collects gently used jeans to donate to teens in over 1000 homeless shelters across the United States. In the past 5 years, this drive has collected over 2.5 million pairs of jeans. To help contribute, drop off your gently used jeans in any size in the front office or the library of Tewksbury Memorial High School. This drive is open to anyone in Tewksbury and beyond. The school who donates the most jeans wins a $10,000 grant, new Aeropostale sweatshirts and a party. Last year, I collected 128 pairs of jeans. This year, I hope to collect over 200 pairs! Please help contribute to a great cause! Any questions please email me at katelynjulia@yahoo.com.
