Tewksbury BU13 Red (10) vs. Arlington BU13 Gray (5)

The Tewksbury BU13 Red team traveled to a very wet and cool Arlington HS field to play the Arlington Gray BU13 team on Sunday, 22 April 12.  The BU11 Red came away with a 10 – 5 victory. This was a great win for the kids after a disappointing sudden death OT loss last week.  The goal scoring was spread around between 6 players: Stephen Johnson, with the hat trick (3), Connor Brincklow (2), Derek Schumaker, Mitchell Andrea, Shane Murphy, Shane Darrigo and Michael Andrea all scored 1 goal each.  The aggressive goalie play of Chris Abele was nothing short of great.  The defense of Matthew Andrea, Richie Calarusso, Ben Connors, Jackson DeRoche, Stephen Duquette, Barrett Hodgson and Jack Sutherland held the attack of the Arlington team at bay throughout the rainy game.  The next game is this Sunday at home against the undefeated Littleton Gold team.  Should be a good one.  Thanks to all the family and friends that braved the terrible (but much needed) rain to root on the kids.
