How many of us throughout the world have enjoyed a better life that only freedom can produce. I am grateful for the endless possibilities that were made available as a result of the American G.I.? (Government Issue) I am grateful for their sacrifice and commitment. I am grateful for the millions around the world that are living in freedom today because a G.I. cared. As a young Vermonter I was surrounded by American heroes during WWII and after. Every single day has been a gift of country pride and enjoyment that only God, freedom and the American people can produce. We must always be prepared to defend this great nation; civilization last great hope. It's a battle that never ends. l am forever grateful for the many opportunities that I have grown to expect. It is important that we all pass our unrevised history on to our children and grandchildren. I search for opportunities to accomplish that daily and hope that you will also.
