Neighborhood Parcel of Tewksbury is relocating to 262 Middlesex St. in Lowell, a move to get closer to its customers while keeping overhead cost low. In a press release announcing the move, the company stated that customers can get the same service from the company. The move will allow the company to lower its overhead expenses and taxes. Saints Medical Center is pleased to announce it has entered into a multi-faceted agreement with ZOLL Medical Corporation of Chelmsford, a leader in comprehensive hospital and EMS resuscitation solutions. The blog site www.massdevice.com is reporting that Cambridge Heart Inc. (OTC:CAMH) raised $2.9 million in a private options offering. The Tewksbury-based company sold 14.5 million units to select investors at 20 cents each. Terry Atamian, owner of Atamian Volkswagen & Honda, Inc. in Tewksbury, helped the Massachusetts Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure fight breast cancer during October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating a portion of their proceeds to the charity. Because of Atamian's strong ties with the community, he motivated other local businesses to participate in the fundraising efforts by matching donations.
