SENIOR LEAGUE SONICS 24 PACERS 17  The Sonics outpaced a strong and fast Pacers team. Shannon Smith led the way with 11 points, most while battling through the paint. Shannon also had numerous stuffs and steals. Erica Dirk made her presence known offensively popping in 4 points and playing mad defense. Intermediate League Cougars 21, Wolverines 10 The Cougars played a very tough game Saturday and got their first win of the young season. The offense was slow getting going against a very stubborn Wolverines defense. The Cougars were trailing 5-6 after the first quarter and 5-8 after the second quarter. After half time the Cougars came out and looked like a completely different team.
