This time they won the “Pelham Basketball Winter Slam 2011 Basketball Championship”. Tewksbury 7th Grade Blue  Georgetown 43 -Tewksbury 7th Grade Blue 32 Tewksbury got off to a rough start in their game at Georgetown High School, as the quick Georgetown team converted loose balls into 4 layups to pull out to quick 9-1 lead. Congratulations to coach Sal Monteneri and the 5th Grade Tewksbury Boys Basketball Travel Team for winning the Merrimack Valley Division Championship against Haverhill.  The team played a tough game against Haverhill but was able to pull together for the win.  The scoring was spread out amongst all of the players.  They did a tremendous job!  The final score was 46-37.

Tewksbury 6A – 27 Pelham 6A – 17 The Tewksbury Girls’ Basketball 6A travel team finished out their regular season on a high note, defeating Pelham, NH on the road by the score of 27-17.
