About The Program: All are invited to gather 'round as Victoria Yule (portrayed by Anne Barrett) entertains in her parlor, telling all about her Christmas plans for 1895.  She'll sing songs, tell stories and show the treats, ornaments and presents that will make it a special celebration.  Along the way, she'll share the history and traditions of this festive holiday season.

About The Performer: Anne Barrett enjoys entertaining audiences with her lectures on a variety of historical topics, and has brought her programs to many libraries and museums.  She is Vice President of the Topsfield Historical Society, publisher of its newsletter 'Local Lore,' and a guest columnist in her community's newspaper - 'Tri-Town Transcript.'  Barrett was awarded Storyteller of the Year by the North of Boston Convention and Visitors Bureau for developing the groundbreaking 'Spotlight on History' series for the North Shore Music Theater.  She has developed her stage skills through many lead roles in community theater and musical shows.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Tewksbury Public Library.
