Approximately 4,000 children participate in Tewksbury's youth sports programs; the Parks and Recreation Department maintains most of those programs' venues, such as fields and indoor facilities. At the center of things is the Livingston Street complex, which is home to the Department's offices, the youth center, numerous playing fields and a playground. The newest facility at the complex is the Tewksbury Youth Softball Field of Dreams. Parks and Recreation hosts Camp Pohelo and runs numerous trips and programs for residents of all ages throughout the year.
