4. It's Also Happening Today: The Friendly Little Bookstore will be open at the Tewksbury Public Library from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Shop for books at bargain prices with all proceeds going toward Friends of the Tewksbury Library programs.

5. ICYMI: In case you missed it, Planning Board voted 3-2 Monday to postpone making a recommendation on the proposed zoning amendment that would accommodate a slots-only casino at 300 Ames Pond Drive. Instead, they will deliver their recommendation on the zoning amendment at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 20 at Tewksbury Memorial High School, before special Town Meeting.
