Austin Preparatory School’s John Taveras of Tewksbury brought home the 2nd place trophy from the Austin’s Got Talent show.
John, a junior at the Reading school, captured a prize in the upper school division by singing and performing “Step by Vampire Weekend,” lyrics by Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), on the piano.
