Seven Billerica students will be appearing in Stoneham Theatre’s young company’s Summer Festival 2013. Stoneham Theatre’s young company offers year-round theatrical training and performing opportunities for children ages 7 – 18. This year’s Summer Festival will showcase five musicals and one play: Starmites Lite, Bye, Bye Birdie, The Wiz, Jekyll & Hyde, Bernarda Alba, and The Handless Maiden.
Elizabeth Hart can be seen in the classic 1960s musical, Bye, Bye Birdie, about an Elvis-like, teen superstar who turns a small town in Ohio upside down. Jekyll & Hyde, a musical retelling of the classic story about a doctor whose experiments create a murderous counterpart, will feature Corey Farrow, Benjamin Hull, and Max Murphy. Lindsey Moran and Colin Murphy will appear in an adaptation of Grimm’s fairy tale, The Handless Maiden. And Caitlyn Burns will appear in Bernada Alba, the musical tale of a powerful matriarch, who imposes a strict rule on her household following her second husband's funeral.
