Helping Kids Cope: Pre-K through Grade 6

Learn practical ways to help kids develop resiliency in the face of change and loss in this FREE educational workshop for parents and educators in the Tewksbury Public Schools.

Topics covered include dealing with separation anxiety, temper tantrums, and behavioral issues; how to use books, music, and craft projects to encourage age-appropriate conversations; and how to explain traumatic events to kids.  We'll also discuss how to talk to kids about terminal illness and death.
