Library's First Annual Poetry Contest Details

The deadline for  the Tewksbury Public Library’s first annual poetry contest is Tuesday, April 15.  Entry forms can be found HERE or at the library’s Front Desk. 

 
Poems should address this year’s theme: “Dogs.”  Poems may be humorous or serious, but may not exceed 20 lines in length.
 
A panel of judges will select winners in three categories: Middle School, High School, & Adult.  Winners and honorable mentions will be invited to Poetry Night on Thursday, May 1 at 7pm to recite their poems and pick up their prizes.  The winning poems will be published in the local press and on the library’s website.
