Memorial Day Parade

Tewksbury’s Memorial Day Service and Parade will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014.

There will be a 21 gun salute @ the Miceli Bridge next to the K of C at 11:30. The Memorial Service at East Street Cemetery will begin promptly at 12:45 p.m.. Congressman John Tierney and State Representative Jim Miceli will be in attendance, along with local dignitaries from the Board of Selectmen and other Town Boards.

Following the Service the people participating in the Memorial Day Parade will march down East Street to the Town Hall and the parade will begin from there at approximately 2pm. We have numerous Marching Bands this year, local town organizations, clown units and lots of floats. The parade will continue down Main Street just to the South of the U.S. Post Office.

At the end of the parade participant are welcome to join us at the Tewksbury Knight of Columbus who has graciously volunteered to supply light refreshments and open their hall for all involved.

The Friends of the Tewksbury Patriotic Committee would thank each of our sponsors for their support and look forward to a GREAT day remembering those who have served our Country with honor and as always, we thank the Town of Tewksbury for their continued support. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
