1. Your Weekend Forecast:

  • According to the National Weather Service, there is a 30 percent chance of showers Friday which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 77. Expect a northeast wind 8 to 11 mph. 
  • There is a 60 percent chance of rain Friday night with a low of 63 expected. There will be a northeast wind from 5 to 7 mph and patchy fog after 2 a.m.
  • Saturday there is an 50 percent chance of rain with a high near 80. Expect an east wind around 6 mph and patchy fog before 2 a.m.
  • Saturday night there is a 30 percent chance of rain with a low of 64 expected. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy. Expect a light and variable wind.
  • Sunday there is a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with a high of 88 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 
  • Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 69.

5. It's Happening This Weekend: Stop by the car wash at 1500 Andover St. in Tewksbury on Saturday at 9 a.m. to help out a good cause. Thomas Catyb is putting on the car wash to raise funds for his Eagle Scout project, which will repair a prayer garden at St. Andrew's Church in Billerica.
