Assembly of God To Present Living Nativity Tonight and Saturday

Annual event gives visitors a chance to step back in time to the birth of Jesus of Nazareth.

(Editor's note: The following information was submitted by the Assembly of God Church.)

The Lowell Assembly of God will be hosting its Annual Drive-Thru Living Nativity again this year, on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 14 & 15, from 6 to 8:00 p.m.

Approximately 50 of our church folks will be manning one of six stations, consisting of

  • A Welcoming Station
  • Isaiah, giving the announcement of the Birth of Jesus Christ
  • Wise Men, bearing Gifts for the New Born Baby Jesus, as they follow the star to the Manger
  • Angels singing in the Heavenly Choir
  • Shepherd’s watching over their flocks telling about the Angels that appeared to them
  • The Manger, with Mary, Joseph and a live Baby playing the part of Jesus
  • Refreshment Table with apple cider and donuts
  • Many live animals to pet

We would like to take you back in time that night so long ago, to relive what it must have been like to see this take place. You don’t even have to leave your car to see everything. You can park your car and walk through again and also see the area of animals, or even take your picture in the Manger with Baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Everyone will be in costume to portray their part in this Living Nativity. You can listen to the actors as they speak their parts to reflect their station, and the part they are playing.

You won’t want your family to miss this event, and remember, The Living Nativity is TOTALLY FREE!
