Calling All Tewksbury Veterans: Tewksbury Country Club Planning Veterans Day Celebration

Tewksbury Country Club will hold an event for Tewksbury veterans on Veterans Day.

Tewksbury Country Club began honoring Tewksbury veterans years ago, focusing on honoring those veterans who served our country in World War II.

This year, Tewksbury Country Club owner Marc Ginsberg will hold a Veterans Day celebration honoring all Tewksbury veterans of the United States Military on Monday, Nov. 11.

Former selectman Jerry Selissen is helping to organize the event, and is currently reaching out to as many veterans as possible to figure out how many veterans will be in attendance.

"Once we can determine the size of the event, veterans will then receive a formal invitation in the mail," Jerry Selissen said.

If you are a veteran of the United States Military and Tewksbury resident and would like to RSVP to this event, you can email
Vetscelebration@gmail.com, call 978-500-1662  or fill out the form attached to this post.

Selissen said it is hard to determine the size and scope of the event because it is the first year Tewksbury Country Club has held an event for all Tewksbury veterans.

"This year we're extending the invitation to all Tewksbury veterans, presumably starting with World War II all the way to present day," Selissen said.

Cost of attendance will be free of charge for Tewksbury veterans, and Tewksbury Country Club is asking that all RSVPs be made before Friday, Sept. 13.

Once all RSVPs are in, formal invitations will be sent out to veterans by mail, according to Selissen.
