More Than 2,000 in South Tewksbury Lose Power Thursday Night

Residents in South Tewksbury began to lose power at around 5 p.m., according to National Grid.


Following an afternoon snow storm that left roadways in Tewksbury a mess, National Grid is reporting approximately 2,200 residents in South Tewksbury are without power Thursday night. 

Residents in South Tewksbury began to lose power at around 5 p.m., according to National Grid.

As of 7:30 p.m., National Grid is still reporting 2,234 residents without power in South Tewksbury.

Crews are currently "assessing the condition," and there is no reported restoration time yet, according to National Grid.

Tewksbury Patch has heard from several readers in the area who already have their power back as of 7:30 p.m.
