What Roadwork is Happening on North Street on Thursday?

Detour information for North Street roadwork happening Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17.


In our latest installment of You Ask, Patch Answers, we answer questions about what roadwork is currently happening on North Street: 

The final pavement operation of North St reconstruction will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Thursday, Oct. 17 (weather permitting).

Traffic on North St will be directed has follows:

Northbound traffic will be detoured through Kendall and Livingston. The Southbound traffic will be detoured from Livingston to Kendall.  

Once passed 578 North St., southbound traffic will be detoured through Westland and back to North St.  North Bound traffic will remain the same.

Second day of paving:

Northbound traffic will be allowed to pass through North St. and the southbound traffic will be detoured through Marion to Louis and back on to North St.  There will be some delay until work passes the intersection of Northgate and Westland.

It is imperative that  enough time  is given for the pavement to cure and the only way this can be accomplished is by allowing a minimal amount of traffic to drive over the new pavement.
