Summer is just around the corner. And in Tewksbury that means the Tewksbury Farmers Market on Livingston Street will soon be open for business.

Saturday is opening day for the farmers market, which takes place at 286 Livingston Street every weekend from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year the market will be open from Saturday all the way through September 27, with a host of vendors participating.

The vendors who will spotlight the market with full season appearances are Farmer Dave's, Pleasant Valley Gardens and Stillman's at the Turkey Farm.

Farmer Dave's sells their own tomatoes, corn, summer squash, zucchini, local peaches, nectarines, strawberries and much more.

Pleasant Valley Gardens also sells fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, winter squash, cabbage, cauliflower, and others.

Stillman's has a different variety of items for sale. The local business offers pork, beef, lamb, chicken, eggs, meat pies, and more fresh items, along with cut flowers.

In addition to the three mainstays, there will also be a host of vendors who are participating on selected dates this summer.
