Storm Center: Updated Snowfall Totals, Library and Schools Closed Friday

The first storm of 2014 is underway as the initial flakes began falling after midnight on Thursday. During the day on Thursday there will be some accumulation, though much of the snow will come Thursday night into Friday before the storm ends by Friday afternoon.

Current Forecasts

How much snow is Tewksbury expected to get Thursday and Friday? The National Weather Service is projecting 13 inches of snow as of 9 a.m. on Friday. 

Tewksbury Patch has received unofficial reports of 11 inches of snow on the ground in Tewksbury.

School Closed

Tewksbury Public Schools will be canceled again on Friday, Jan. 3.
