Tewksbury Farm Seeks Community Help to Win Therapeutic Horse

Strongwater Farm, formerly known as T.H.E. Farm, is in the running to receive a specially trained therapeutic horse valued at $15,000.

Tewksbury's Strongwater Farm, which is located on Livingston Street, is in the running to receive a therapeutic horse valued at $15,000, and the group is asking for the community's help.

In a board posting on Patch, the therapeutic riding facility (which was previously known as T.H.E. Farm) wrote that it is in the midst of a contest sponsored by LexLin Gypsy Ranch.

The winner of the contest will receive a specially trained therapeutic Gypsy horse, which is valued at about $15,000.

LexLin Gypsy Ranch is giving away five horses to Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International accredited riding centers.

As of Monday, Strongwater Farm was in fourth place, just ahead of a Florida riding center, which was in fifth place.

"I am asking that if you or a family member are on Facebook, please take the time to cast your vote for Strongwater Farm," the Patch post by Linda Marlowe said. "It is easy to do and takes less than a minute."

Residents can vote one time every 24 hours now through July 3. To vote, like the LexLin Gypsy Ranch Facebook page and then vote for Strongwater Farm by visiting this link.
