Tewksbury's Got Talent Tryouts Set For Tuesday Night

The Tewksbury Historical Society is planning a "TEWKSBURY HAS TALENT" tryout to celebrate the 278th Charter Day Celebration of the birthday of Tewksbury.

We are inviting people to try out by singing, dancing, acting, story telling, comedy, or playing musical instruments.  We will have one tryout as a rehearsal (see below).  The performers will be judged by a three-panel person and by the audience.  We hope the most of the performers will be able to participate in a final event.  Applications and rules are available in your school's office or the Senior Center.  Applications are also available on line:

Box 522, Tewksbury, MA 01876.  "Tewksbury Has Talent" Tryouts will be held Nov. 20, 2012 at the Wynn Middle School Auditorium Tryout start at 6:30pm. Late sign-in starts at 6:00pm.  Tryouts are free.  Mail-in applications will place you at the beginning of tryouts and saves time waiting in line.  This year, we will eliminate some acts.

The final event, "Tewksbury Charter Day Celebration" Show will be held at 7:00pm, December 1, 2012, at the Wynn School Auditorium.  Tickets for this event are $8.00 for Premium Seats and $6.00 for General Seating.  Tickets may be purchased at the tryouts on Nov. 20th or the Local History Room (Tewksbury Library) on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:30pm or by reservation or information by emailing: tewksburyhistoricalsociety@msn.com.
