Open House at

Parents in Tewksbury and nearby communities are invited to attend the Kumon Open House (June 18th, 10am – 1pm) to learn more about how Kumon’s enrichment program gives children the daily practice needed to catch-up and stay-ahead during the summer break. According to a Duke University study, most students lose about two months of grade level equivalency in math computation skills during the summer months, which can add up to more than two years of total learning loss throughout a child’s academic career.  Summer is the ideal time to enroll in Kumon, the world’s largest after-school program, that help children get ¾ and stay ¾ ahead of the curve.

If students find their school work too challenging, or are seeking a challenge, Kumon Instructors create lesson plans to help students build confidence, strong academic skills and a love of learning.

Summer Study with Kumon:

  • Only15-30 minutes of daily practice with twice weekly half-hour center visits.
  • Lesson plans are personalized to each child’s ability.
  • Students progress according to their actual ability and not by their school grade or age.
