Neighborhood Parcel Is Relocating to Lowell

Tewksbury man named vice president at Lionbridge.

is relocating to 262 Middlesex St. in Lowell, a move to get closer to its customers while keeping overhead cost low.

In a press release announcing the move, the company stated that customers can get the same service from the company. The move will allow the company to lower its overhead expenses and taxes.

"Our Lowell location will help our clients access our diverse service portfolio while sharing the savings from low overhead costs. The City of Lowell is welcoming our company and excited to have us join their historical district. Our new location
is within walking distance of the new Massachusetts RMV and across the street from the new Middlesex Court House," said Hanson Bechat, CEO of
Biz International Corp.

Bechat said his company is known to be a great community partner and that the company strives to help local charities. He said the company teams up every year with the Lazarus House to collect donations and contribute to the local community. According to its Web site, the company offers International Shipping, Crate Packaging, Mailbox Rental, Document Services, Mail Forwarding and Document Shredding.

Tewksbury man named vice president

Waltham-based language service provider Lionbridge has named Scott Blodgett of Tewksbury as Vice President of SaaS Engineering, responsible for the product development of Lionbridge’s GeoFluent multi-lingual communication product and GeoWorkz, Lionbridge’s e-commerce site. 

 Most recently Blodgett was the General Manager of Phoenix Technologies eSupport Division. 

His career includes senior positions at Astadia, a professional services firm specializing in Salesforce.com and Google Apps deployments, where he was the Chief Technical Officer.   

Blodgett has also held senior management positions at OneSource Information Services and  MITRE Corporation. 

He is a graduate of Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business and holds MS/BS degrees in Computer Science and Engineering  from the  Rochester Institute of Technology.
