Awards presented by Women in Cable Telecommunications.

JoAnn Brothers, Senior Director of Project Management for Technical Operations and Engineering in Comcast’s Greater Boston Region, was recently recognized with the 2012 Technical Achievement Award by Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) New England.

The honor recognizes an outstanding industry leader for their innovative achievements and being a WICT member who demonstrates strong leadership qualities.

Brothers has advanced in her role at Comcast since joining the company in 1997 and was promoted to her current position in 2012.  At Comcast, she is responsible for overseeing project management of advanced product launches along with other customer impacting initiatives to Comcast’s residential and business services customers in eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine.

“JoAnn is an asset to Comcast and all of our customers who benefit from having her expertise behind the scenes to ensure that our innovative products ‘wow’ each customer,” said Tony Speller, Vice President of Technical Operations and Engineering for Comcast’s Greater Boston region.  “Her contributions and achievements are deserving of this honor.”
