First Genealogy Support Group Meeting at the Tewksbury Public Library

I want to thank the 15 people who attended the first meeting! It was great to meet so many experienced and novice genealogists. Today we began by discussing how to get started using common forms and standard formats.  After we went over (very generally) the local history room, non-fiction collection and databases.  For those were not able to attend the meeting here is a link to today's slides.

The group also has a Facebook page where member can have discussion and share information between meetings

Next month we will meet in the large meeting room on July 24th beginning at 2:00 with a short presentation, then time for discussion and research!
