What’s the Best Neighborhood for Trick-or-Treating in Tewksbury?

What area is known for going 'all out' for Halloween? Where can a kid with an insatiable sweet tooth clean up?

In any town, there are always those streets and neighborhoods known for great trick-or-treating – “King-Size” candy (which actually no longer exists), high participation rate among houses, doors close together, decorations, lots of other kids and maybe a haunted house or two.

What are these streets and neighborhoods in Tewksbury?

Carriage Estates, the neighborhood behind the bus company. 6 cul de sacs.....a dream come true for kids. Can be done in 2 hrs if you run across everyone's front lawns. Have your parents carry a back-up-bag so you can pass your loot to them when your pumpkin bucket overflows. Then keep on collecting!

FYI: there are whole streets in my neighborhood that still have no power...and they have bonfires, generators, and still giving out candy...Kudos to that neighborhood...when my husband tells me what street i will post...those people are True New Englanders!!!

Erin, You beat me to it. Your own neighborhood, of course.

We used to go " in our own neighborhood" but since we live on a heavily traveled road, where the cars travel quite fast, (and, of course, no sidewalks) it became too dangerous for the kids. So we go to Mitchell G....not just for the candy, but for the atmosphere. All the trick or treaters, even the older kids are having fun.....So a very big THANK YOU to all the residents of Mitchell G for making it happen on Halloween every year !!!

The Street was Baldwin. The homeowners made the best of a bad situation and used car lights, flashlights & firepits to light the way. During a complete power outage since Monday they still went out of their way to do something nice for the kids. My hat is off to them great job and hope the power is returned soon.
