What are your thoughts on Election Day, which takes place on Saturday in Tewksbury?

Things are a little quieter on the ballot this year in Tewksbury, but there is still an important decision to be made.

Saturday is Election Day, with polls at open at precincts in town from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

In the only contested race on Tewksbury's ballot, former selectman Doug Sears squares off against Jerome Selissen for the role of Town Moderator.

In addition, the races below are on the ballot but uncontested:

  • Bruce Panilaitis -- Board of Selectmen
  • Brian Dick (Incumbent) -- School Committee
  • Patrick Joyce (Incumbent) -- Library Trustee
  • Robert Homeyer (Incumbent) -- Library Trustee
  • Louise A. Gearty (Incumbent) -- Housing Authority
  • Charles Roux (Incumbent) -- Board of Health
  • Vincent Fratalia -- Planning Board
