Fourth Annual Greater Merrimack Valley Restaurant Showcase Week

The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau presents the Fourth Annual Restaurant Showcase Week, August 18th-September 1st, 2013. Restaurant Showcase Week spotlights the region as a dining destination gem and allows local restaurants to show off their unique culinary styles.

Restaurants throughout the Greater Merrimack Valley region will participate in the Fourth Annual Restaurant Showcase Week. Food lovers and curious diners will have the chance to sample cuisine from new restaurants as well as enjoy old favorites, all at a fantastic value. A two-course prix fixé gourmet lunch begins at just $9.13 while the cost for a three-course prix fixé dinner starts at just $23.13.

"It's a great opportunity for people to try a new restaurant or a new flair of cuisine while receiving a great value. The response in years past has been fantastic. It draws a lot of people to the region. Having a two week event really allows for diners to visit as many restaurants as they would like to and gives our restaurants a chance to capture more exposure," said Deb Belanger, the Greater Merrimack Valley CVB's executive director.

This year, the Greater Merrimack Valley CVB partnered with both the Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce and the Lexington Chamber of Commerce to offer their member restaurants to participate as well. "Having this partnership has allowed us to broaden our reach and extend our marketing efforts for the program," said Deb Belanger.
