NEW LOCATION - POMPS POND RECREATION PARK, 147 ABBOT STREET, ANDOVER, MA

Park on the access road - Recreation Park Road.
DO NOT drive down the hill to Pomps Pond.
This road is level, paved, and plowed with plenty of room to drive and park.
We will meet at the pavilion at the end of the paved road. There is plenty of cover in case of inclement weather.

There will be - a short presentation on the astronomy, history, and folklore of the winter solstice.
- music and singing.
- a cooking fire to roast marshmallows, S'mores, and bakes potatoes.
Please bring - your own food supplies and beverages, but NO alcoholic drinks are allowed.
- bells to ring to wake up the sun as the Holly King Banner is retired and the Oak King Banner is raised to symbolize the time of lengthening days.

This SRWA event is free and open to the general public.
