When President Barack Obama landed at Logan Airport on Wednesday, several Tewksbury residents were on the tarmac to greet him before he left to deliver a speech on his new health-care law.

Marissa Heinze, an 11 years old student at Ryan Middle School and her brother Nick were given the opportunity to meet Obama.

Marissa's mother, Lynn, works for the US Secret Service and was allowed to bring Marissa and Nick to watch Air Force One land and meet Obama upon his arrival in Boston.

"While we were there waiting I found myself extremely nervous to meet him. When he finally departed the plane and made his way over, I found myself excited, not able to believe this was really happening," Heinze said

Obama shook the kids hands, said "Go, Red Sox," and even held a friends little brother.

"It was a once in a lifetime experience and cant believe I can say 'I met the President of the United States,' " Heinze said.
