Country music megastar Tim McGraw has warmed hearts everywhere with his reaction to a girl who jumped on stage during his July 13 concert in Atlanta.

He was sitting on the edge of the stage crooning "You Are So Beautiful," a Joe Cocker song, for his daughters, and wife, Faith Hill. When a girl joined him on stage he embraced the moment, and her.

Fan Kelly Samford Halcomb shot a cell phone video of the end of the serenade and posted it to Facebook. It's gone viral from there, showing McGraw hugging the girl, who has Down Syndrome, then signing his acoustic guitar and handing it to his fan with another big hug and a kiss.

Although you can't hear her reaction over the noise of the crowd, you can lip-read the smiling special fan as she says, "Oh my God."

Samford Halcomb, who captured it all on her phone, said: “Why I love Tim McGraw and country music.”

The star's generosity also helped lift the spirits of Samford Halcomb, who said on Facebook that she'd gone to the concert to cheer herself up after the death of her dog, a yellow lab named McGraw.

"I am honored to have captured such a special moment," she wrote of the McGraw's serenade.

I believe he and Faith are great people. I hope someday to see them in concert.

I am sickened. In an elaborated story it said that this woman was later BEATEN by Tim McGraw after, caught up in the moment, she grabbed McGraw's crotch. I don't care if you are famous like Tim McGraw you do not beat a Down's syndrome girl! And I do not care even if you have Down's syndrome you do not grab for Tim McGraw's "little Timmy" while he is singing.

What a sweet thing to do, and to Mimmie ...evidently hysteria is something that you are comfortable with. You see red and immediately yell Fire! whether there is a flame or not - There is a wide gaping gulf between being beaten and being slapped at or even slapped IF his hand actually connected with her person. How would you feel if you were alone in front of screaming fans who all wanted nothing more than A PIECE OF YOU and you were within arms reach! They didn't want to hurt you, they wanted to love you to bits, just a pinch here and snatch a piece there and some hair, want an eyeball? there wouldn't be anything left but a greasy spot on the floor With love from Atlanta! Grow up Mimmie, people aren't going to let him get away with it? LOL! All he has to do is smile and say 'aw shucks' and people will melt and btw country fans don't mind smacking some girls around every now and then...there's a LOT of songs about that too!
