Tewksbury's Memorial Day Parade Avoids Raindrops, Rolls Past Throngs of Spectators

A variety of Tewksbury organizations were represented as the rain held off for the annual Memorial Day parade on Monday.

There was no raining on this parade.

Though rain drops started falling in Tewksbury in the minutes leading up to the annual Memorial Day parade, the weather cooperated by the time the floats got rolling.

A long list of local organizations rolled down Main Street in front of a large crowd of spectators, with the flying candy bringing smiles to the faces of young residents.

Town officials, antique cars, members of the police and fire departments and armed forces, non-profit organizations, bands and high school sports teams were among the groups represented at the parade on Monday afternoon.
