Scott F. Emmons, age 42, of Lawrence, formerly of Tewksbury, passed away at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on Sunday, February 24, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was the beloved husband of 14 years to Lisa A. Polcari Emmons.
Born in Haverhill on March 4, 1970, he was the son of Cynthia M. MacGregor of Dracut and Robert Emmons and his wife Gina of Tewksbury.
Scott was raised in Tewksbury and Lowell. He attended the Immaculate Conception Parochial Grammar School and Lowell High School.
Prior to being diagnosed with cancer, Scott worked as a contractor owning and operating a small roofing business.
Scott enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling and loved spending time at the beach.
He had a deep faith in Christian teachings and passionately studied the Bible.
In addition to his wife and parents, Scott is survived by four sisters, Susan Dollings of Pepperell, Cynthia Jenkins of Lawrence, Linda Gibson, and Dianne Nocco both of Tewksbury; two brothers, Mark Kloetzer of Dracut, and Robert Emmons, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Andover; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Nathalie Polcari of Lawrence; his brother in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph Polcari, Jr. and Linda Polcari of Pepperell; his sister-in-law, Donna Valladares and her husband Ronnie of Lawrence; his brother-in-law, Michael Coyle of Tewksbury; also many nieces and nephews.
Scott was also the brother-in-law of the late Marie (Polcari) Coyle.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, March 2, from 9-11 a.m. in the Lowell Assembly of God Church, 995 Andover St., Rte. 133, Tewksbury,(for directions see www.lowellag.org), immediately followed his Funeral Service in the Church.
