Tewksbury Resident Worked in Furniture Industry, Enjoyed Country Music

Robert Anderson, 70, lived in Tewksbury for 22 years until he passed away on Saturday.

The following is an obituary courtesy of Farmer & Dee Funeral Home.

Robert M. "Bob" Anderson, age 70, a resident of Tewksbury for 22 years, formerly of Somerville, passed away at home, with his family by his side on Saturday, April 5.

He was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Cecchini) with whom he would have celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary on May 20, 2014. Born in Bangor, Maine on June 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Harold W. and Harriet (Howes) Anderson.

Prior to his illness, Bob worked in the furniture moving industry. He enjoyed country music, and tinkering with small engines.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his daughter, Krystal L. Anderson of Tewksbury; sisters, Sandra Russell and her husband Wendell of Brewer, ME, and Rachel Brazier and her husband Earl of Carmel, ME; also many nieces and nephews. Bob was the brother of the late Maxi and John Anderson.

Calling hours Tuesday, April 8, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 9, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
