Curiosity about clearly abandoned home

I'm wondering if anyone knows what happened with the house on Whipple between Chapman and Marston that clearly doesn't have anyone living there. No plowed driveway or any unbroken snow at all, things leaning against all the doors, now it has a fallen tree on one side, the wooden shingles are falling apart, etc, etc. Seems like a house with a story. Of course, it looks like it may be near the end of it's story if it doesn't get help soon.
