Planet Fitness now TAC?

What happened and what does this mean for those who are/were Tewksbury Planet Fitness members?

Thanks Tony D for clarifying that for me. I guess I have one question for you, being a member. I was considering joining a gym, but I would be a complete newbie to one. Do they show you how to operate the equipment and advise as to how long or how many repetitions to do the activity when you are first getting started. Thanks to anyone who can answer my questions.

Mary - You can sign up for a personal trainer but at an additional cost. He/She will show you which machines to use for what you want to accomplish. The cost is fairly expensive. They also have two "workout rooms" on the second floor. No additional cost to use them. You do a circuit of exercises in a specified number of minutes. I believe (30). TSC (Planet Fitness) is perfect for "newbies". No pressure - nobody looking over your shoulder. Join and work out at your own pace.

Thanks so much Tony D for answering my question. I really don't have the money for a personal trainer, so I will have to go on your advise to do the circuit of exercises in the specified number of minutes. Yes I would definitely be a newbie so the no pressure part is great. Thanks again!

FYI... As of May 1st, most all of the equipment has been swapped out with new. The locker rooms have been remodeled and look great.

Yes, the equipment is all new and much better than the old. The two rooms on the second floor that were used for the 30 minute circuit are now used for other exercises. Another area on the second floor has just about everything you need for cardio and aerobic exercises. Browse the labels on each piece of equipment and go to it.
