Tewksbury Board minutes.

Got a question? Yes I do! Why do all the Tewksbury Board's lag behind in posting the videos and minutes of their meetings?  In this day and age, the videos should be posted within 48 hours.    They should be , but I cannot find them. Also there wre recnetly several new committees established and member appointed to them.  Cannot find those either. Am I missing them or is the site behind or is the site just negelected because the electeds dont care  if the residents know whats happening in  current time? What helo do they need to make it bigger, better, and faster?

Karin thought you and I would always be just fighting but i guess to fight for whats right has common ground Sometimes. Could not resist writing back here as just today a resident approached me with what they believe is a valid question for town hall and they have been unable to get an answer, It is to my understanding that a percentage of money goes to towns from cable bills. Wilmington Billerica ect..uses it for public access and i been told some have nice studios. WHERE IS TEWKSBURY's MONEY? SelectmanGay can you find out for US>since you were chairman when the was asked, and I do not accept the non answer given at the time.

Donna, good question.... I think the place to direct that inquiry is to the manager's office. They are obligated to provide copies of those contracts, as well as to account for the use of those funds.. in my legal opinion...

Thankyou Karin..I will add it to my list of questions and approach it as you stated.

The best way to approach a request for information is to concisely list the questions you have and/ or a list of the documents/ info you seek. Once you or your potential constituents have it out organize in a clear and concise manner, submit it to the manager's office in writing, either by snail mail or email. If it pertains to the Boards, then submit it directly to the boards. It has been my experience, that despite my complaints about how lagging the minutes are, all the offices have responded promptly to my emailed questions and requests
