Adults Acting Like Children, Bank Card Theft Top Police Log

A woman walked into s on Saturday, June 9, at 11:51 a.m. and reported that her Direct Express Card had been stolen and had just been used at

Officers checked the security footage at the bank, which showed a suspect using the woman's card to withdraw $340 from her account.

A report was filed and the case is under investigation.

According to the police report, each of the callers complained that other person was taking pictures of them and taunting them. Officers were sent to the scene to speak with both people. Also, a well-being check was done on their children, who were fine.

A report on the incident was filed.

Arrests:

Dawn Valentin, 35, 6 Trent St., Boston, was arrested on Saturday, June 9, on a warrant.

Phil Smith, 37, 28 Quail Run, Tewksbury, was arrested on June 8, and charged with OUI-liquor and a speeding.

James Mackey, 50, 68 Mitchell G Drive, was arrested on June 7, at 12:27 p.m. and charged with violation of an abuse prevention order.

Additional Incidents

On Saturday, June 9, at 9:36 a.m., a resident of Merrimack Meadows Lane called police and reported that their vehicle had been broken into overnight.

On Sunday, June 10, at 12:38 p.m., an officer noticed a group of youths on the roof of the It turns out that the kids had been playing ball and one of them was getting their ball back from off the roof. The officer sent the youngsters on their way.

On Friday, June 8, at 7:16 p.m., a resident of Morningside Drive reported that their van had been broken into.

On Thursday, June 7, at 4:50 p.m., a person called police to report that while their car had been parked at the Fairfield Inn, it was broken into and their laptop had been stolen.
