Alleged Drunk Driver Tools Around Ocean State Parking Lot

The following information was supplied by the Tewksbury Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

An alleged drunk driver made her situation considerably worse when she chose not to cooperate with the arresting police officer.

According to a Tewksbury Police report, dispatch received a call on Saturday, Oct. 27, reporting a silver Toyota driving around the Ocean State Job Lot parking lot. According to the caller, there were two women in the car and when they stopped to ask a question, it appeared the two were intoxicated.

Officers were sent to the scene and the car was pulled over the car at Main Street and Old Main Street. Details of what happened next were not immediately available but during the course of the investigation and arrest, the driver allegedly assaulted the arresting officer.

Corinne A. Wall, 56, 129 Fells Ave., Medford, was arrested and charged with OUI-liquor (2nd offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

I bet the lady with the Toyota had a totally flat right front tire. I was walking my dog on Patrick Road Sat evening and a silver Toyota with two women in it tried to make a 3 point turn around, she scraped the car on a signpost and when I told her the tire was flat she just kept saying I know, what can I do. I thought she was drunk but since she couldn't go more than about 5 mph with the tire so flat I figured she would head to the gas station, not 2 miles down Rt 38. Crazy!
