Arrest for Loaded Gun Reportedly Stemmed From Frozen Pizza Dispute

Henry Mulholland threatened to kill and break his roommates jaw after he ate the roommate's pizza.

Police arrested a Main Street resident for illegal possession of a handgun and ammunition earlier this week, and according to a report in the Lowell Sun, the incident stemmed from a dispute over frozen cheese pizza.

Tewksbury Police announced on Thursday that they arrested Henry Mulholland, 58, of 1192 Main Street. He was charged him with possession of a firearm with no license, possession of ammunition with no license, improper storage of a large capacity firearm, threatening to commit a crime, and three counts of possession of a large capacity firearm feeding device.

Police said Mulholland had made a threat to kill on Wednesday night, and after initiating a search warrant, they located a 9MM Smith and Wesson handgun, several magazines and other ammunition.

According to the Lowell Sun, Mulholland's roommate told the police that the pair argued through text message because Mulholland ate the roommate's pizza. The newspaper reported that the messages "included threats to kill and break the housemate's jaw."

Mulholland was released on personal recognizance after his Thursday appearance in Lowell District Court.

The Lowell Sun reported that Mulholland will next appear in court on July 8 for a probably cause hearing.
